This year’s event is called “Light Up the Lakes,” which kicks off at 5 p.m. with food trucks, beverages and Christmas music on the shore of Lake Howard in the area of Avenue D Northwest.
The boat parade will start at Marine Supply, 717 Sixth St. SW, while the mini-parade will start near Old Man Frank’s restaurant, 1005 Lake Howard Drive SW go to Beymer Memorial United Methodist Church, 700 N. Lake Howard Drive, before turning back to the docks.
